15 units sold in the month of December and to close out the year. Sales in December were slightly down from the 17 sold in December 2011. However, 2012 saw a 8.7% increase in the number of properties sold from 2011.
The number of options in Timbergrove/Lazybrook continues to decline. There are currently only 19 homes available. This is down from the 23 homes that were available in November. Not surprisingly, there were only 11 homes that came on the market in December. Decembers in general tend to be a slow month for new listings in general. 4 of the 11 new listings are already under contract. Timbergrove/Lazybrook continues to be a very competitive market.
Home prices in Timbergrove were up 6% overall in 2012 from the previous year. With tightening inventories, this is a trend that is expected to continue in 2013.
